Fittonia

The Fittonia, better known as the nerve plant, is a low-growing tropical beauty prized for its striking veined foliage. Each oval leaf is laced with a fine network of pink, red or silvery-white veins that stand out against deep green, giving the plant a jewel-like, hand-painted quality. Its compact, spreading habit keeps it neat and bushy, making it a charming choice for terrariums, desktops, bathroom shelves and any cosy corner that could use a splash of intricate colour.

Fittonia thrives in bright, indirect light and loves warmth and humidity, so keep it away from harsh direct sun and cold draughts. Water regularly to keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy, as this thirsty little plant will dramatically flop when it gets too dry and perk up again soon after a drink. Grown and potted on-site, each plant is hand-picked and ready to settle into its new home.
