Shipping policy

 

We send all plant orders every Monday and Tuesday with Australia Express post services. To ensure your order ships on either Monday or Tuesday please complete your order by the preceding Sunday before midnight. Orders made after Monday may be held back or delayed (to the following Monday) 

Your plant will be packed bare rooted, wrapped in sphagnum moss, surrounded in bubble wrap and taped securely to minimise movement during delivery.

Despite the utmost care we take to ensure our plants are packaged well for their journey, on occasions, some damage may occur during delivery and shipping that is beyond our control. Most plants travel well however in the unlikely event where some damage occur we hope you understand and give consideration to.

Express shipping costs are charged at a flat rate by weight up to 1000g for $15. $20 up to 3kg and $26 up to 5kg. Standard delivery times within Australia are 1-3 business days. 

Note, The Houseplant Shop will not take responsibility for parcels that have been lost or stolen if authority to leave the parcel at your premises has been requested.  

Please ensure someone is available to accept your delivery and to unpack your new plant right away to avoid and minimize stress for your plant.
