The Plumeria, better known as Frangipani, is a warm-climate favourite prized for its sculptural branching and clusters of waxy, sweetly perfumed blooms in soft shades of white, cream and gold. Its bold, leathery leaves and characterful silhouette make it a real showpiece, whether planted out in a sunny garden bed, used as a feature near an entertaining area, or grown in a generous pot on a bright patio where its fragrance can be enjoyed up close.

Give your Frangipani a spot in full sun with free-draining soil, and water regularly through the warmer growing months while easing right back in winter when it rests.
