These terms apply to your use of our website and to purchases from The Houseplant Shop. By ordering with us you agree to them. They should be read together with our Shipping, Returns & Refunds and Privacy policies.
About us
This site is operated by The Houseplant Shop, based at 25 Pitt St, Mortdale NSW 2223 (ABN 62 544 625 376). You can reach us on 02 9119 3888 or at info@thehouseplantshop.com.au.
Orders and pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices and availability can change without notice.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept and despatch it. If an item is out of stock or a genuine pricing error occurs, we may decline or cancel the order and will refund any payment in full.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments and other listed methods. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Plants are living things
Plants are natural products, so the one you receive may vary from the photos in size, shape, colour and leaf count. Basic care guidance is provided in good faith and general in nature.
Workshops and events
Event bookings are held, not charged, until a session reaches its minimum numbers. If a session does not go ahead you will not be charged and we will help you rebook or refund any amount paid.
Some sessions such as yoga and healing classes are general wellbeing activities and are not medical advice. Please take care and let facilitators know of any relevant health conditions. You take part at your own discretion.
Consumer guarantees and liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
To the extent permitted by law, and other than those non-excludable guarantees, our liability for any claim connected with your order or this site is limited to resupplying the goods or services, or paying the cost of doing so.
Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to The Houseplant Shop or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
