Dichondra 'Emerald Falls' is an easy, vigorous trailing plant that suits beginners. It's happy in full sun through to part shade, and the brighter the position the denser and more compact its growth, while too little light makes it sparse and leggy. Keep the soil lightly and evenly moist, as it prefers not to dry out completely, but avoid leaving it waterlogged. It's ideal for a hanging pot or trailing over the edge of a planter. Use a pot with drainage holes, feed lightly through the warmer months, and trim the trailing stems whenever you like to keep it full and tidy.
