Donkey Tails

Donkey Tails (Sedum morganianum) is a charming trailing succulent prized for its long, cascading stems packed with plump, blue-green leaves that overlap like a braided tail. It brings soft texture and gentle movement to any spot, spilling beautifully over the edge of a hanging basket, a raised pot, or a sunny shelf. Give it a warm, bright position and it will happily tumble downward, making it a standout feature indoors on a bright windowsill or outdoors under a sheltered patio.

This one loves plenty of light, so place it in full sun to very bright conditions for the fullest, most compact growth. As a true succulent it stores water in its leaves, so let the soil dry out completely between drinks and water only infrequently, easing right back over the cooler months. Handle it gently, as the beaded leaves detach easily, though any that drop will happily strike as new plants. Grown and potted on-site, each plant is hand-picked and ready to settle into its new home.
