Hanging Succulents

These hanging succulents are easy, low-maintenance and great for beginners. Hang them in a bright spot with plenty of light, including some gentle direct sun, which keeps the plants compact and colourful, as too little light makes them stretch and go leggy. Their fleshy leaves store water, so let the soil dry out well between waterings, overwatering is the main thing that harms succulents, causing soft, mushy rot, and remember hanging pots can dry a little faster up high. Make sure the pot drains freely and never let it sit in water. Keep them warm and away from cold draughts, and feed lightly once or twice through the warmer months. When in doubt, water less.
