Peperomia dolabriformis, known as the Prayer Peperomia, is a fascinating semi-succulent with unusual folded, boat-shaped leaves that look like little green pea pods. Each leaf features a translucent 'window' along its top edge, and its sculptural, architectural form makes it a real conversation piece.
As a succulent-type peperomia it's wonderfully low-maintenance, storing water in its thick leaves. It thrives in bright light and needs only occasional watering once the soil has fully dried, making it near-impossible to kill and perfect for beginners or forgetful waterers.
