Philodendron Snowdrift

Snowdrift is a highly variegated climbing philodendron that needs bright, indirect light to keep its white variegation strong and the plant balanced, but should be kept out of harsh direct sun, as the pale sections scorch very easily. Let the top few centimetres of soil dry out before watering again, as it dislikes sitting wet, and the large white areas make it a little more sensitive to overwatering. Use a pot with drainage holes and a chunky, well-draining aroid mix, and give it a moss pole to climb for larger leaves. Keep it warm and humid, away from cold draughts, feed lightly through the warmer months, and wipe the leaves gently to keep them clean and pest-free.
