Coprosma

Also known as the mirror plant, Coprosma is prized for its glossy, high-shine foliage that catches the light like polished glass. Depending on the variety, the rounded leaves shift through greens, chocolate browns, fiery reds and creamy variegation, giving this hardy evergreen shrub year-round colour and a naturally neat, bushy habit. It is a brilliant choice for garden borders, low hedging, coastal plantings or a bold feature pot on a sunny patio.

Coprosma thrives in full sun to part shade, where plenty of light keeps the leaf colours rich and vivid, and it prefers free-draining soil kept lightly moist while established, then watered when the top of the soil dries out.
