Philodendron Cordatum

The Heartleaf Philodendron is one of the easiest, most forgiving houseplants and ideal for beginners. It's happy in bright, indirect light through to lower-light corners, though it grows fullest in brighter spots. Keep it out of harsh direct sun, which can scorch the leaves. Let the top few centimetres of soil dry out before watering again, as it dislikes sitting wet. Use a pot with drainage holes and a well-draining mix. Let it trail from a shelf or hanging pot, or give it a pole to climb. Keep it in normal room warmth away from cold draughts, feed lightly through the warmer months, and pinch back leggy vines to keep it bushy.
