Poinsettia

The Poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) is the classic festive showstopper, crowned with brilliant bracts that blaze in rich reds, creamy whites and soft pinks above deep green foliage. What look like petals are actually colourful modified leaves that surround the tiny true flowers at the centre, giving the plant its bold, layered display. Compact and upright in habit, it makes a cheerful statement on a bright windowsill, entryway table or mantelpiece, and looks equally at home grouped with other plants or standing alone as a seasonal centrepiece.

Position your Poinsettia in bright, filtered light for the strongest bract colour, and keep it away from cold draughts and heat vents. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, allowing excess to drain freely, and avoid letting it sit in a saucer of water. Grown and potted on-site, each plant is hand-picked and ready to settle into its new home.
