Stromanthe Sanguinea Triostar

The Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar' is a vibrant prayer-plant relative with striking, variegated leaves splashed in green, cream and pink, with rich magenta-pink undersides that glow when backlit. A member of the same family as the calatheas, it folds its leaves up at night and adds bold tropical colour to any bright, humid spot.

Like the calatheas it rewards attentive care with beautiful foliage. It loves bright, indirect light, consistent moisture and higher humidity, and is sensitive to the chemicals in tap water. Give it warm, humid, evenly moist conditions and it'll stay lush and colourful.
