Tradescantia is a fast-growing trailing plant loved for its shimmering, jewel-toned foliage. Each leaf is painted in stripes of silver, green, and rich plum-purple that seem to glow when the light catches them, tumbling over the edge of a pot or hanging basket in a lush cascade. Vigorous and forgiving, it fills out quickly and looks right at home spilling from a shelf, a mantel, or a bright windowsill where its colours can really shine.
