Dwarf Zanzibar Gem

The Dwarf Zanzibar Gem is a compact take on the much-loved ZZ plant, with glossy, deep-green leaflets fanning out along upright, gently arching stems. Its neat, rounded habit stays smaller than the classic form, making it a brilliant fit for desks, shelves, bathroom vanities and those tricky corners where other plants sulk. The waxy foliage practically shines under lamplight and shrugs off neglect, so it is a favourite for busy homes, offices and first-time plant parents alike.

Give it low to indirect light and let the soil dry out almost completely between drinks, as its thick rhizomes store plenty of water and it far prefers being too dry than too wet. Water sparingly, ease right off over the cooler months, and feed lightly through the warmer season for steady new growth.
